Iviensan (Ivie) Manalo, M.D. has spent the majority of her life in Montezuma and Atlanta, Georgia. After graduating Summa cum laude from the Georgia Institute of Technology, Dr. Manalo attended medical school at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta where during this time she completed a one-year clinical research fellowship in biologics under the tutelage of Dr. Jay Wu at Kaiser Permanente in Los Angeles. Following graduation, she completed her Preliminary Internal Medicine Internship with the Morehouse School of Medicine at Atlanta’s Grady Hospital. In June 2020 Dr. Manalo completed her Dermatology Residency at Emory University School of Medicine where she also served as Chief Resident.
Dr. Manalo has had extensive experience in dermatology focused clinical research in addition to delivering numerous presentations to both local and national dermatology conferences including the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, American College of Mohs Surgery and the Atlanta Association for Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery. She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, Women’s Dermatological Society and the American Medical Association. In her free time Dr. Manalo enjoys cooking, exercising, traveling, hiking and spending time with family and friends.
