Parin Rimtepathip, M.D. (Dr. Pearl) was born and raised in Atlanta and is coming back home to join MetroDerm. After graduating with honors from Georgia State University, Dr. Pearl received a medical degree from Mercer University School of Medicine. Following her graduation, she completed her Preliminary Internal Medicine Internship with Morehouse School of Medicine at Atlanta’s Grady Hospital. In June 2020, Dr. Pearl completed her Dermatology Residency at Loma Linda University in California where she also served as Chief Resident.
Dr. Pearl has been published in a number of medical journals including Dermatology World, Journal of the Dermatology Nurses’ Association, and the American Academy of Dermatology Directions in Residency. In addition to being published, Dr. Pearl also has a sincere interest in participating in community service-related activities with many of these benefiting the area of dermatology and skin cancer. Some of these activities have included work with miles for melanoma Atlanta, skin cancer education for the Lopers Club in Loma Linda, and skin cancer screenings in partnership with the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr Pearl is also a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, and Women’s Dermatology Society. Her primary interests include general dermatology, cosmetic and surgical dermatology, and pediatric dermatology.
In her free time, Dr. Pearl enjoys spending time with her husband as well as cooking and assisting her local family’s Atlanta based authentic Thai cuisine, Curry Curry Thai.
Dr. Pearl prides herself in excellent patient care and is currently seeing patients in the practice’s Hiram/Paulding office.
