Dr. Laura Garvey is a Board-Certified Vascular Surgeon who has been in practice in the Atlanta area since 2002. She specializes in the treatment of all venous diseases.
Dr. Garvey received a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology at the University of Virginia, where she was an Echols Scholar and elected to Phi Beta Kappa. She was graduated from the University of California Medical School in Los Angeles in 1995. She completed her residency and fellowship training in General Surgery and Vascular Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in 2002. She has been certified as a Registered Vascular Technologist since 2007.
Dr. Garvey is a Fellow of the American College of Surgery. She is an active member of the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
In her free time, Dr. Garvey enjoys hiking, skiing, playing tennis, and spending time with her husband and three boys.
