Dr. Julia Neckman is a Yale-trained dermatologist specializing in Mohs micrographic surgery, cosmetic dermatology, and laser surgery. She completed her sub-specialty training at the Laser & Skin Surgery Center of New York.
Dr. Neckman graduated from Duke University and earned her medical degree from Mount Sinai, where she was not only awarded a special distinction for her research work at Rockefeller University, but also was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha national medical honors society.
Dr. Neckman completed her dermatology residency at Yale University, where she was chief resident. She has presented nationally on her research efforts studying the tumor micro-environment of skin cancer, and she has been published in peer-reviewed journals, including Journal of Investigative Dermatology and the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology.
She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, Women’s Dermatologic Society, and American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery.
