Dr. Tiffany Alexander recently joined the Metroderm family and specializes in general dermatology at our Lilburn and Buckhead locations.
Dr. Alexander is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and earned her medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine in 2017. During medical school, she conducted research with the Dermatology branch of the National Cancer Institute at the National Institutes of Health in Maryland. She also received a multitude of dermatological scholarships during her training. After medical school, she completed her dermatology residency training at Duke University in 2021. She served as chief resident during her senior year. Throughout her training, Dr. Alexander has produced numerous publications and presented at several national meetings including the American Academy of Dermatology. After residency, Dr. Alexander practiced at East Carolina University in North Carolina and was a recipient of the 2023 Patient Choice Award for providers. During this time, she was also featured in multiple local morning news segments as well as radio interviews to discuss the importance of skin health.
Dr. Alexander is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and a member of the Skin of Color Society.
