Father’s Day is Sunday, June 19, and if you’re looking to give your dad something different – not another spatula set for the backyard grill – then it’s time to consider sending him to the med spa. Whether your dad is in his 40s, 50s, or 60s, a med spa treatment has anti-aging benefits and will improve his skin health.

SkinPen Microneedling
SkinPen creates thousands of precise micro-injuries or “micro-channels” in the dermis, which stimulates new collagen synthesis without causing scar tissue formation. This technology takes advantage of the skin’s natural healing process. When SkinPen makes microchannels in the skin, the skin naturally produces new collagen and elastin in the treatment areas, leading to a fresher skin appearance. SkinPen microneedling can help heal acne scars; reduce fine lines and wrinkles; improve natural hydration by increasing hyaluronic acid production; firm and tone sagging skin by increasing collagen and elastin production; heal sun damage; and reduce the appearance of melasma, hyperpigmentation, and rosacea.
Laser Skin Resurfacing
Lasers have been used to treat skin conditions since the 1960s, and since then, laser treatments have been constantly refined and improved until we have the efficient and safe aesthetic lasers of today. Laser skin resurfacing can smooth wrinkles, tighten skin, reduce acne, and help control oil production. They can also reduce the look of scars and even ablate varicose veins and blood vessels in rosacea-affected skin.
Chemical Peels
Chemical peels are a secret weapon to exceptionally healthy and hydrated skin. Peels can not only increase the skin’s natural moisture, but also can improve the color, clarity, texture, and tone of skin; control oil production and heal acne breakouts; minimize skin imperfection and scars; smooth fine lines and wrinkles; and even the look of discoloration and sun damage.
Dermabrasion
Dermabrasion improves the look of the skin by employing a diamond-tipped rotary instrument to remove or abrade the existing upper layer of skin in a precise manner. The bit spins quickly, taking off and leveling, or planing, the top layers of the skin. This process injures, or “wounds” the skin and causes it to bleed. As the wound heals, new skin grows to replace the damaged skin. Healing typically occurs within about a week.
Dermal Fillers
Dermal fillers are gel-like substances that are injected into the dermis (the second deepest layer of the skin) to fill in areas of depression, wrinkles, or scarring, and can even reshape areas of the face. During treatment, a very thin needle is injected below the skin, and a filling gel will be inserted into the desired area, adding fullness and volume. When used under or within scars and wrinkles, the filler can minimize their appearance. In and around the cheeks, lips, and nose, dermal fillers can change the shape of the area. We offer the Juvéderm family of fillers, the Restylane family of fillers, and Radiesse.
CoolSculpting
Sometimes called fat-freezing, CoolSculpting is a non-surgical treatment used to get the look of liposuction but in a less invasive way. Fat-freezing is a clinically proven method of reducing pockets of fat in the thighs, butt, back, chin, and abdomen. There are several reasons patients elect to use CoolSculpting to reduce fat. Some experience issues with stubborn fat that seems impossible to reduce even with consistent diet and exercise.
HydraFacial
HydraFacial is one of the most powerful, non-invasive skin resurfacing treatments available today. It combines cleansing, exfoliation, extraction, hydration, and antioxidant protection that removes dead skin cells and impurities, while simultaneously delivering moisturizing serums into the skin. HydraFacials target uneven skin tone, congested pores, excess oil production, dehydrated skin, and fine lines, and wrinkles.
