Maya Patel, PA-C, is a nationally certified physician assistant with a special interest in general dermatology, preventive medicine, and patient-centered aesthetic care. She is passionate about delivering evidence-based, comprehensive treatment and is committed to helping patients feel confident in their skin. Maya works alongside Dr. Neckman at our Alpharetta, Lilburn, and Sandy Springs locations.
Maya grew up in Duluth, Georgia, and graduated cum laude from the University of Georgia in 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and a minor in Biology. After graduation, she worked as a medical assistant at MetroDerm’s Alpharetta office to gain patient care experience before beginning PA school. She earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Nova Southeastern University in 2025.
Maya is licensed by the Georgia Composite Medical Board and maintains her national certification through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). She is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA), Georgia Dermatology Physician Assistants (GDPA), and the Georgia Association of Physician Assistants (GAPA).
In her free time, Maya enjoys traveling, cooking, playing tennis & pickleball, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her family, friends, and her adorable Aussiedoodle.
