JEUVEAU®: A Modern Approach to Smoother Skin
JEUVEAU® is an FDA-approved injectable treatment designed to temporarily improve the appearance of moderate to severe frown lines, also known as glabellar lines, between the eyebrows. Often called “NEWTOX,” JEUVEAU has made a name for itself as a modern alternative to BOTOX® Cosmetic, especially appealing to patients seeking a fresh take on wrinkle-smoothing treatments. Like other neuromodulators, JEUVEAU works by relaxing the facial muscles that cause dynamic wrinkles – those formed by repeated movements like frowning or squinting.
The active ingredient in JEUVEAU is botulinum toxin type A. When injected into targeted muscles, it temporarily blocks the nerve signals responsible for muscle contraction. This relaxation allows the underlying skin to smooth out, creating a more youthful, refreshed appearance. Treatments are quick, typically taking only 10–15 minutes, and results can begin to appear within a few days, with optimal effects seen within one to two weeks. Results typically last three to four months, depending on the individual.

Now available at MetroDerm’s Center for Plastic Surgery, Evolysse™ is the latest innovation in dermal fillers, offering a fresh approach to facial rejuvenation. Recently FDA-approved and launched in April 2025, this exciting new line of hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers was developed by SYMATESE and is exclusively distributed in the U.S. by Evolus – the same aesthetics company behind JEUVEAU®.
What makes Evolysse stand out is its use of proprietary Cold-X™ Technology, a cutting-edge process designed to deliver longer-lasting, more natural-looking results. Unlike traditional HA fillers manufactured using high heat, Evolysse™ is created through a cold process that preserves the natural structure of the HA molecule. This results in reduced use of chemical cross-linking agents, minimal HA fragmentation, and improved tissue integration. The outcome? Fillers that move naturally with your facial expressions and avoid the overfilled or puffy look that some patients want to avoid.
Currently, the Evolysse line includes two offerings tailored to different treatment areas:
- Evolysse™ Form is ideal for deeper injections, such as smoothing moderate to severe nasolabial folds (smile lines).
