Dr. Parin (Pearl) Rimtepathip was born and raised in Atlanta. After graduating with honors from Georgia State University, Dr. Pearl received a medical degree from Mercer University School of Medicine. Following graduation, she completed her preliminary internal medicine internship with Morehouse School of Medicine at Atlanta’s Grady Hospital. In June 2020, Dr. Pearl completed her dermatology residency at Loma Linda University in California, where she also served as chief resident.
Dr. Pearl has been published in a number of medical journals, including Dermatology World, Journal of the Dermatology Nurses’ Association, and the American Academy of Dermatology Directions in Residency. She also participates in a variety of community activities, including many that focus on dermatology and skin cancer, including skin cancer education for the Lopers Club in Loma Linda and skin cancer screenings in partnership with the American Academy of Dermatology.
Dr. Pearl is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, and Women’s Dermatology Society. Her primary interests include general dermatology, cosmetic and surgical dermatology, and pediatric dermatology.
In her free time, Dr. Pearl enjoys spending time with her family.
