ATLANTA March 27, 2026 – MetroDerm and MetroDerm’s Center for Plastic Surgery are proud to announce that several of their physicians have been named 2026 Castle Connolly Top Doctors, a prestigious honor recognizing excellence in patient care, clinical expertise, and peer-nominated leadership in medicine.
The following physicians from MetroDerm and MetroDerm’s Center for Plastic Surgery have been selected as 2026 Castle Connolly Top Doctors:
- Dr. Corrie Alford – Dr. Corrie Alford is a board-certified dermatologist who specializes in medical dermatology, skin cancer treatments, and cosmetic dermatology at MetroDerm’s Atlanta – Sandy Springs and Hiram locations. A graduate of Spelman College, she earned her medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine, where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. Dr. Alford completed her dermatology residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and has practiced in the Atlanta area since 2006.
- Dr. Jack Arbiser – Dr. Jack Arbiser is a board-certified dermatologist who practices at MetroDerm’s Atlanta – Sandy Springs location and specializes in medical dermatology and the treatment of complex skin diseases, including skin cancers. Before joining MetroDerm, he served as the Thomas Lawley Endowed Professor of Dermatology at Emory University School of Medicine and Chief of Dermatology at the Atlanta Veterans Administration. Internationally recognized for his expertise, Dr. Arbiser has made significant contributions to molecular cancer research, vascular biology, and the biology of skin diseases.
- Dr. Adar Berghoff – Dr. Adar Berghoff is a board-certified dermatologist and dermatopathologist who practices at MetroDerm’s Atlanta – Sandy Springs location, specializing in general and cosmetic dermatology. He earned his medical degree from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society, and later completed his dermatology residency and dermatopathology fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Prior to his dermatology training, Dr. Berghoff served six years on active duty in the United States Navy as a primary care physician and flight surgeon.
- Dr. Amy Kim – Dr. Amy Kim is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon who practices at MetroDerm’s Atlanta – Sandy Springs and Hiram locations. She specializes in skin cancer management and Mohs micrographic surgery, and provides general dermatology, cosmetic dermatology, and phlebology treatments. Dr. Kim completed her dermatology residency at Emory University, where she served as chief resident, followed by a fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery and cosmetic reconstruction at the University of Michigan.
- Dr. Farzad Nahai – Dr. Farzad Nahai is a board-certified plastic surgeon who sees patients at MetroDerm’s Center for Plastic Surgery in the Atlanta – Sandy Springs location. He specializes in aesthetic and reconstructive procedures of the face, breast, and body, as well as non-surgical treatments such as injectables and facial fillers. Dr. Nahai earned his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine and completed advanced plastic surgery training at the University of California, San Francisco, along with additional fellowships in aesthetic, oculoplastic, and craniofacial plastic surgery.
- Dr. Julia Neckman – Dr. Julia Neckman is a Yale-trained, board-certified dermatologist specializing in Mohs micrographic surgery and dermatologic surgery. She sees patients at MetroDerm’s Alpharetta, Atlanta – Sandy Springs, and Lilburn locations, where she focuses on the surgical treatment of skin cancer. Dr. Neckman has presented nationally on research related to the tumor microenvironment of skin cancer and has been published in leading peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of Investigative Dermatology and the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology.
